A walk on the dark side

This is the first installment of a project we are currently undertaking on Edinburgh's south side. We have been contracted to renovate the floors on the ground floor of this magnificent property. The owners are looking to achieve a classy, neutral look to compliment the pastel shades planned for the interior decoration. We tested various shades/colours on the floor and on consultation with the client selected a 50/50 mix of Dark Oak and Walnut.

New town floor comes up a picture

Recently completed, this beautiful New Town drawing room floor was renovated as part of a full renovation project managed by DJ Alexander. This baltic pine floor was in very poor condition and required substanital repairs. After sanding and buffing off, we applied three coats of Junkers Pro Finish. This is a water-based product and comes in three different finishes. The finish used on this project was mid-sheen.

We've had a very busy 2010 so far, completing work across Edinburgh and the Lothians, including recent work with Edinburgh's leading estate agent and property managers, DJ Alexander. Our projects have included everything from small bathrooms to offices and restaurants.
